Description

SilkeMat™ Rigidizer is NON-FLAMMABLE and formulated for molding SilkeMat™ into rigid reusable molds of the highest quality in performance. Easy to use, our Rigidizer cures at 1450F for pot melts and vitrigraph molds, and can even be used to solidify just the outer shell of the SilkeMat mold to retain a soft, release-free interior for slumping any glass. Properly prepared and fired, all SilkeMat™ molds are usually reusable.

Powder SilkeMat® Rigidizer

INSTRUCTIONS

  •  Mix 1 part dry mix to 4 parts distilled water clean in a clean container.
  • USE A DUST MASK WHEN MIXING.
  •  Mix well and let stand 12-24 hours
  • Stir well and mix thoroughly with an electric hand blender
  • Use a strainer to remove any unmixed particles. It is
  • now reconstituted and ready to use.
  •  Keep container sealed and stir again before using,

    as the ingredients settle.
