Description
General Information For Molds with Posts:
- When preparing the mold with glass separator, make sure to cover every angle, especially if using a spray-on product
- If using a liquid separator such as kiln wash, make sure to give it ample time to dry before adding any frit
- If using frit, make sure the top of the post is uncovered before firing by brushing away excess glass
- When de-molding, wait until the mold is completely cool, then invert over a soft surface and gently thump it on the back if necessary
- Never try to pry the glass loose, as this may cause the post to break off
