How to work with brass filigree:
Brass filigrees allow you to add detail without adding extra work. You can foil it along with the background piece that you are adding the filigree too or tack solder to the top of the foiled piece. You can either leave the filigree brass, or tin it with solder so it will blend in with the rest of your stained glass piece. If you decide to tin the filigree use gloves to handle the brass. It will get extremely hot while adding solder. Fine Steel Wool can be used to prep the brass to make the soldering process go easier. Be sure to flux the filigree and use the thinnest possible coating of solder.
Also will fit Worden Dragonfly Lamp Forms.

These are nicely made, light weight and flexible. Even at regular price they are a bargain! If I had a wish, it would be that the filigree holes were larger to allow more glass to show, but they will be nice regardless. Cannot say enough about the fine communication and fast shipping. Well done!
