Description
Make beautiful designs with your own pattern bar mold. It is high grade Stainless Steel and will endure endless firings.
We suggest a firing schedule that looks like this:
500 degrees per hour to 1460 degrees and hold for 20 minutes. Full fuse (9999) to 900 degrees and hold for 15 minutes. Cool to room temperature. Each kiln fires differently and you may have to adjust your schedule.
After your pattern bar has cooled and is sliced, be sure to clean your slices before you re-fire them. Set your kiln for 500 degrees per hour until you reach 1460 degrees and hold for 20 min.

So glad I bought this mold! I have used it four time so far, and I am really pleased with how the bars turned out. The mold seems durable, and should provide years of use. The instructions that accompanied the mold provided helpful advice on prepping the mold.
I plan to buy a rectangular pattern bar mold soon, and I will gladly buy it from Glass House Store.
